The Adams County 4-H horse committee sponsors this fun series of horse shows. We offer approximately 82 classes including showmanship, English, Western and Gymkhana. These shows are open to all ages and skill levels with no membership required. The shows are held at the Adams County outdoor 4-H arenas located at 9755 Henderson Rd. Brighton, CO 80601. Entries open at 7:00 a.m. and the show starts at 8:30. Gymkhana entries close at 2:00 p.m. with classes beginning when all of the Western division classes are completed.
Rosette ribbons are given through sixth place. First place winners in each class have the option to choose a prize from the prize table instead of a taking a ribbon. Gymkhana winners are awarded cash payout for the first three places in each class instead of ribbons. High Point and Reserve High Point are awarded at each show in eleven divisions. Series year-end awards are given to first through fourth place in fourteen divisions (English, Western, Novice, and Walk-Trot). Riders are required to compete at three shows per performance discipline to qualify for year-end awards.
